The Man with Many Faces

There's a man.
A man of many faces, with no face of his own.
Wearing these faces as masks.
Hiding behind his other personas, never showing his true colors.
His true intentions.
Himself.

He never lets other close, for they always fall victim to the Darkness he is possessed by.
So he keeps them away, by any means, just praying not to hurt others.
The man with no face, is trying to keep all others away.

Out of sheer fear, the fool.
Never attatching to other people, because of his own childish worries.
Why should one such as he, be so meek?
Why can't he be content with his worries? Keep them inside like all others seem to do so often..
He can, but won't.
He will, but can't.
His own words counter themselves.

His mask of fear, is actually modeled by himself.
It's his own true face, but he still wears it, fearing the world won't accept him.
It would accept him even more, should he peel away the masks of deceit, and let his own personality shine bright.
Shine with radiance never before seen.
Not by this world, at all.

If only he'd learn.
If only he'd accept the fact he's the way he is, maybe he'd be a human, instead of an empty shell with an affinity for masks..
