This Machine Gun was the work with a small think tank, comprised of Fordorsian, Ulfran, and Vyntraskan weapon designers, with Trent Polanski at the head. They wanted a machine gun for suppression, vehicle mounting, and it's most ideal use: Raids on Draugr infested areas. The Caliber was the first order of business. The bullet was suggested to be one already in production. First was the Ulfran's 28.66mm Vødnarr round. This was shortly voted against, however, when no one-not even the smaller of the Ulfran people-could operate the weapon under sustained fire. Then, they tried the bullet used in the Fordorsian GPMG; .303. This jammed somewhat frequently, and didn't provide a large deal of stopping power that they wanted. They then considered making a caliber specifically for the weapon. The resulting round was a full-sized .45 Vyn round, the .450 Vyn! This bullet traveled as fast as a .380, but did nearly three times the damage.
Next stop was the mount. They needed a way to quick mount and dismount a weapon, without any major bolting and such interaction. The device they made was a ball-and-joint mechanism. All one needs to do is press the weapon into the mount until they hear a clicking noise, and then the weapon will remain placed.
Other, small features, were a folding back sight that can adjust for firing from 100 yards to 1,000 yards, a stock that one can grip onto while firing while firing, and for carrying. It's best feature, though, was the ability to change the firing speed. It can be changed to 350 RPM, 600 RPM, or 950 RPM.
Technically, this weapon can be fired regardless of mounting, but it is recommended that you should only fire the weapon at 350 RPM, if you are shouldering the weapon.
Overall, this weapon received much praise all across Ulfheim, especially in the Ulfr-Reich. One popular practice is to mount them on the back of trucks and barrel through Draugr-filled places and mow them down as they drive by.
